Os X 10.half-dozen - last FileZilla Client version supported?

#i Post past onlyonequestion » 2014-09-07 12:37

Hi,

I searched everywhere merely I can't find the respond to this question:

What is the final version of FZ Customer that supports Mac OS X 10.6 Codename "Snow Leopard"?

The latest stable version of FileZilla Client is three.9.0.5 and says: "Requires OS 10 10.7 or newer" :-(

Cheers a lot for your help to my question! :-)

OS X 10.6 is outdated and insecure. Please upgrade to a more modern operating organisation.

When upgrading to King of beasts or MAVERICKS or whatever they volition call it tomorrow is Not a possibility because of application restrictions where company applications, whether written in house or not, will not run on King of beasts or above, what options do yous have for a FTP client?

You want to stay with FileZilla, but the choice of getting access to an older customer is not available, then the just pick is to go elsewhere.

I do non know the answer to the original question and the answer provided was not helpful. Does anyone have whatsoever help that they tin can provide to set up our troubles?

Thank you.

Take the link I posted two posts above and check for yourself, I don't have a Mac (and will never). Since the OP talked about three.ix.0.5 not working, start at three.9.0.4 backwards.

The to a higher place post is not useful.

Yes, I could try dozens builds to notice one that works, but my question was, does someone know which version was a good one for Snowfall Leopard? I do not wait anyone to try these out for me, but I imagine it is likely that someone who worked on this project would know that build such and such was a solid build.

Warm regards, Rick.

If yous want to run the Filezilla on Mac OS X x.6 (Snow Leopard), you can endeavour the Filezilla v3.2.7.1.

Enjoy it!

On that file list page, click the "Direct Download Link: Off" so it says ":On". Then try again.

After installing Filezilla v3.two.7.1 on MacOS X x.6.eight, Filezilla itself offered to upgrade to v3.eight.1 but no further, which seems to piece of work fine for me.

I just wanted to study that I've been using v3.2.7.ane for months now and it has been working perfectly for my (absolutely modest) needs.

Thanks all who have been helping people on these forums.

Warm regards, Rick.

Yous must upgrade to the nearly recent version. At that place are known security vulnerabilities in this old version of yours.
